Tayport is 4 miles from Dundee, 10 miles from St Andrews and 15 from Carnoustie.
Our traditional stone built terraced cottage was built in mid 1800’s.
We are dog friendly.
Recently fully renovated, it has 3 bedrooms, one of which is a loft studio bedroom, 1 public room, 1 bathroom and a kitchen.
We have a quiet, fully enclosed garden to the rear.
The perfect hub, we are close to an hour’s drive to Edinburgh or Glasgow and a half hour from Perth, the gateway to the Highlands.
The sitting room has a gas fired log burning stove and smart TV.
Kitchen is fully equipped.
Breakfast bar has 2-6 stools available.
Bathroom has large bath and separate walk-in shower (extra hand rails available)
Attic bedroom has king-size bed , sofa and 50’’ smart TV.
It is a large space and an extra double mattress can be provided.
The stair to the attic is narrow (like Amsterdam houses) and may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.
All beds have electric blankets.
The enclosed rear garden has seating areas and a water feature. BBQ available.
There is free street parking outside the cottage and a free car park at the harbour (2 min walk).
The whole cottage and garden
As we live just 2 minutes away we are available personally to deal with any issues.
Whilst I like to meet our guests, it is not always possible as we both work.
There is a key box outside the front door.
We have in the past socialised with guests particularly those from overseas or keen gardeners.
I like to meet new people but respect those who just want to book and stay.
Tayport is a harbour town with access to great forrest and beach walks.
It has 3 pubs, (2 of which do great food)
3 take-aways, a 2cafes and plenty shops.

Larick centre.
Menus and other tourist info available in the cottage.
Scotscraig golf Club was a qualifying course for the Open Championship and is the 13th oldest course in the world.
There are tennis courts and 2 children’s parks.
Good bus service to St Andrews and Dundee.
Nearest train stations are Dundee (4miles) and Leuchars (6 miles)
Parking easier at Leuchars if going to Edinburgh.
