There’s something wonderful about the Mas Mexican dining experience, so don’t miss out on this fabulous eatery in Perth Road.

Mexican restaurant + bar serving mouthwatering street food and drinks in a laid back environment.
Frozen margaritas, tequila & mezcal flights and ice cold mexican beers.

All the food is made from scratch daily using the freshest ingredients using local suppliers.
It’s a busy little place so booking is recommended and they are open every evening except Saturday when they serve lunch from 12pm. If you’re in a hurry they do ‘tacoway’, just pop in and order or phone it in and they’ll have it ready for you.

Started and run by a couple of wandering Kiwi’s, The Bach are in the business of trying to do the best casual food around – anything from eggs on toast to hawker rolls to burgers. They supplement this with fantastic coffee, roasted in Scotland, wine from around the world and some seriously good, proper craft beer, most of it from New Zealand’s burgeoning scene.

Their cafe-restaurant-bistro-now-takeaway is located in the heart of Dundee near BrewDog and the McManus Gallery. It’s spacious, with around 95 seats and 28 tables.

Pacamara took over where once stood one of Dundee’s first independent coffee spots, Espress Oh!, picking up where it left off with its focus on speciality roasters, whilst also expanding on its food menu, making it one of the west end’s most popular spots.

Taking inspiration from the coffee houses of Melbourne, Pacamara has a very chic aesthetic — wooden floorboards paired with cutesy chandeliers and local art adorning the walls, celebrating Dundee’s history as well as Scotland’s growing coffee scene.  No fuss, just good coffee and good food.

The Cannon is a café based on Union Street, one of Dundee’s best spots for bars and record shops.

The Cannon definitely has that Instagrammable feel with its bright and stylish décor, but its food and drink options are the real talking point. Breakfast options like its Tay Eggs (poached eggs on sourdough toast with avocado and smoked salmon) look a real treat, while its super sweet milkshakes and pancakes are bound to cure any sugar cravings in an instant.

Home baked treats as well as teas and coffees are also at hand in this family-friendly spot that’s ideal for a catch up or an afternoon meander around the city.

The Bird & Bear in Dundee is a beautiful bar with a passion for the highest quality drinks and fantastic food. Seating outside in our dock street beer garden for brunch, cocktails and evening meals.

The Selkie is a local licensed, family owned cafe in the centre of Dundee, selling fresh local produce with a twist. Open Thursday – Saturday evenings.

Howff Enjoy the theatre of their chefs’ unique tasting menues in the comfort of their secret underground dining room.

The Howff promises a truly unique fine dining experience. You’ll be talked through the dishes, the ingredients and the processes.

They welcome guests on Friday and Saturday evenings for set tasting menus. Each tasting menu can be accompanied by an impeccably matched wine flight.

Ideal for special occasions.

The West House, located in the city’s West End, is a popular place to eat before visiting the Rep Theatre or the Dundee Contemporary Arts Cinema at the bottom of the road. They are surrounded by other great independent bars and restaurants as well as nightclubs and the casino. Boasting a great selection of beers, wines and spirits, it is our cocktails that they are best known for!

The West House is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week from 8am until late. Fantastic brunch classics, followed by a pizza and pasta menu to satisfy all tastes! Just walk in, no need to book unless your party is for 6 or more guests.
