The property sits on the harbour front in Arbroath, a historic fishing town on Scotland’s east coast. The town is famous for the traditional Arbroath Smokie and for its historic Arbroath Abbey, where the Declaration of Arbroath was signed in 1320.
Just a short walk from the property you will find fresh fish shops, local restaurants, galleries and gift shops along the harbour. The surrounding coastline also offers plenty to explore, from the wide sandy beach at Lunan Bay to the coastal nature reserve at St Cyrus National Nature Reserve. The striking red sandstone cliffs at Auchmithie are also nearby, and boat trips run out to the famous Bell Rock Lighthouse.
For golfers, several well known courses are within easy reach, including Carnoustie Golf Links. The town is well connected by road and rail, with easy access south to Dundee and north towards Aberdeen.
