The Tollbooth is a bright two bedroom upper flat located in the centre of the quiet village of Clackmannan. Set in Scotland’s central belt, it offers a convenient base for both leisure and working trips, with excellent access to many of the country’s most well known destinations.
From here you can easily explore the historic city of Stirling, just twenty minutes away, while Edinburgh, Glasgow and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are all within around an hour’s drive. The flat overlooks the historic Clackmannan Tollbooth and sits within a traditional building, while the interior has been updated to provide a comfortable and modern space for guests.
Living Space and Bedrooms
The lounge is bright and welcoming, with plenty of space to relax after a day out exploring. A large L shaped sofa offers a comfortable place to unwind in front of the television, while an armchair provides a quieter corner to settle with a book.
A dining table with seating for four sits within the living space, making it easy to enjoy meals together or plan the day ahead.
Along the hallway there are two bedrooms, both freshly decorated and designed to offer a comfortable night’s sleep. One bedroom features a double bed, while the second bedroom includes a single bed with a trundle, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for additional guests if required.
The main bathroom is modern and includes a bath with shower over.

Location
Clackmannan is a historic village known for its links to Robert the Bruce. From the flat it is an easy walk to Clackmannan Tower, one of the area’s best known landmarks.
Within the village you will find a few takeaway options, while the larger town of Alloa is just a short drive away and offers a wider selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
The location is ideal for exploring central Scotland. Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies are all within around thirty minutes by car. For those who enjoy walking, the nearby Ochil Hills offer excellent routes and views across the surrounding countryside.
