It is an ideal base for trips to Dundee, just 10 minutes by car or 6 minutes by train, Carnoustie Golf Links, 15 minutes by car, or St Andrews and the wider East Neuk, about 30 minutes’ drive.
Broughty Ferry itself is a charming place to spend time, known for its relaxed coastal atmosphere and excellent food and drink. The nearby nature reserve offers quiet walking routes and wildlife spotting, and the beach is perfect for walks, runs, or simply watching the boats go by. A trip with Salt Dog Marine for dolphin spotting on The Tay comes recommended, with CAP guests receiving 10 percent off.
