The Tollbooth is located in the centre of Clackmannan, overlooking the historic Tollbooth. It is a traditional upper flat with a bright and modern interior. LOCATION
Clackmannan is known for its connections to Robert The Bruce and it’s an easy walk from The Tollhouse to the historic Clackmannan Tower. The town itself has takeaway options or it’s a 7-minute drive to the larger town of Alloa with a wide selection of restaurants and shops.
Take a day trip to the big cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow – they’re both within an hour’s drive, and you can also catch the train to Glasgow or Stirling from Alloa.
There are loads of local attractions to visit too, with Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, The Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies all within a half-hour drive. If you’re a keen walker, the majestic Ochil Hills are on your doorstep and offer stunning views over the region.
