LOCATION

Roseangle is a very pretty area of the West End of Dundee, thanks to the old buildings, cobblestone roads, and leafy green areas. It’s a popular choice of home to professionals, families, and students.

There are many cafes and restaurants nearby on the thriving Perth Road. This bustling area of Dundee has a strong café culture making it an ideal location for breakfast or lunch, and visitors will be spoiled for choice with a variety of popular restaurants offering various cuisines. In addition, there are lots of independent retailers on Perth Road.

The city centre is a short walk away (around ten minutes) and features a large city square, popular high street shops, museums and galleries (including V&A Dundee), a science centre and swimming pool. In the other direction, there is the local Roseangle playpark and green space (Magdalen Green) with a charming bandstand. Riverside Drive is a short walk across the main road, an stunning walk into town with spectacular views of the River Tay.

Broughty Ferry, a small fishing village on a sandy beach, is around six miles east (approximately a 20 minute drive by car or bus). Here there are lots of independent shops and cafes, with bikes for hire and a large park called Castle Green. There is a castle and harbour, with a long sandy beach that takes you along the coast to neighbouring villages and towns.

Famous golfing town, St Andrews, is around 30 minutes away by car, while Scotland’s capital Edinburgh is a simple, easy train journey of around 75-minutes.
